Physician – General Surgery – Part Time in Maine

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking a part time general surgeon to join our experienced and collaborative team. The successful candidate will join an established practice of 2 surgeons and 2 Advanced Practice Providers, located in beautiful Damariscotta, Maine. The General Surgeons at LincolnHealth provide comprehensive surgical care including minimally invasive techniques such as laparoscopic and endoscopic procedures. Surgeons handle a wide range of cases annually, and candidates should be proficient in performing upper and lower GI endoscopy.

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Education/Training:

• Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, or equivalent.

Licenses/Certifications:

• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery.
• Ability to obtain and maintain credentialing and privileges at designated hospital locations.
