FACULTY POSITION

DIVISION OF ENDOCRINOLOGY, DIABETES AND HYPERTENSION

CENTER FOR WEIGHT MANAGEMENT AND WELLNESS

BRIGHAM AND WOMEN’S HOSPITAL

The Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Hypertension at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) seeks MD candidates who are board certified/eligible in Internal Medicine or Endocrinology for a full-time faculty position to provide clinical obesity medicine care. The position will be focused on outpatient care for patients with overweight and obesity and other related metabolic disorders. In addition to clinical practice, candidates will have opportunities to participate in education, research, and/or quality improvement initiatives.

The optimal candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills for both patient care and colleague interactions, a commitment to providing the highest quality of medical care for patients with a wide variety of overweight- and obesity-related diseases, and a track record of academic excellence. Appointment at the level of Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and compensation will be commensurate with experience and institutional policies. Completion of an Obesity Medicine fellowship and/or board certification in Obesity Medicine is preferred but not required.
