Description
PeaceHealth RiverBend Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Quality Officer.
Administrative management position, working closely with the Hospital Leadership Team including the Chief Medical Officer and the Director or Quality to help ensure the quality and safety for surgical patients. The Surgical Quality Officer is responsible for addressing the needs of clinicians and staff, while aligning individual efforts with the mission, vision, values, strategic goals and organizational aims of PeaceHealth. Specific responsibilities are to support surgical performance in quality assurance, quality of service including patient access and satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. In addition, the position leads the SHMC-RB Surgical Quality Committee, serves as NSQIP surgeon champion (though this may transition to another interested surgeon), participates in case reviews, and represent RB as needed on system committees. This is a part-time, 0.1 FTE position.
Springfield is located at the southern end of the Willamette Valley, also known as, Oregon wine country. Two rivers run through the community, the Willamette River, and McKenzie River. Bike, walk or run the Middle Fork Path along the Willamette River, or spend the day fishing on the McKenzie River.
