Banner University Medical Group, in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix, is seeking an Orthopedic Sports Medicine physician to join the department of Orthopedic Surgery. Banner Sports Medicine, a division of the department, has 3 locations in Scottsdale and Phoenix. We are a multidisciplinary team of orthopedic surgeons and primary care sports medicine specialists. This is an excellent opportunity to join an academic program that includes involvement in the care of athletes at all levels, including professional sports. The qualified candidate will have an academic appointment with the University of Arizona and involvement in resident, sports medicine fellowship training and research.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency and ABOS certified or board eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
- Completion of Fellowship in Orthopedic Sports Medicine
- Certified or eligible for the Sports Medicine CAQ
- Experience in sports medicine event coverage
