Exciting Orthopedic Surgery Opportunity in St. Louis, MO

SSM Health in St. Louis, MO is actively seeking a BC/BE General Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing 15-member Orthopedics team which consists of 14 Orthopedic Surgeons and 1 Physiatrist. Our Physician Organization has over 300 employed physicians, including a large primary care base which results in a strong referral network. Our dynamic team of colleagues offers a phenomenal practice environment for the incoming physician. The ideal candidate will be a BC/BE General Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship trained in Joint Reconstruction. The group is seeking a candidate with excellent clinical skills and experience in the full range of general orthopedic care. Weekend call for this position is 1:7 and will be located in St. Louis County at SSM Health DePaul Hospital which has recently completed a $22 Million project on campus to create a destination orthopedic center. The project included the expansion of the SSM Health Joint Replacement Center at DePaul Hospital, an inpatient unit that received its fourth Gold Seal designation from the Joint Commission in December of 2015. Additionally, the project included new orthopedic clinic facilities, outpatient therapy, imaging, and conference space for education and seminars.

Opened in 1828, SSM Health DePaul Hospital is a 476-bed, full-service Catholic hospital. Today, SSM DePaul offers the only Level II Trauma Center in North St. Louis County and serves patients from across the St. Louis metropolitan area, with a concentration in the surrounding communities of Bridgeton, Florissant, Hazelwood, St. Ann, Olivette, St. John, Maryland Heights and Overland in Missouri.
