The Epilepsy Division of Northwell Health, the largest epileptologist program in the nation, is seeking epileptologists to join our multi-disciplinary team. As we expand neurological services across the Northwell Health System, we are seeking a dynamic faculty to join our multi-disciplinary team. Northwell Health Epilepsy program currently has two hospitals with Level 4 NAEC center accreditations (North Shore University Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital) and two hospitals with Level 3 NAEC center accreditations (South Shore University Hospital and Staten Island University Hospital).

Our commitment, under the direction of Dr. Souhel Najjar, world renounced neurologist and neuropathologist, is improving outcomes, driving innovation through premier treatments of a wide spectrum of neurological disorders practiced by renowned experts in the field. The Department of Neurology has seen tremendous growth over the past five years across all regions, including the establishment of 18 ambulatory sites.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Our interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized experts consists of specialty-trained epilepsy neurologists and epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses and nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, and electroencephalogram (EEG) technicians. We use the most advanced treatments available for evaluating epilepsy, preventing seizures and treating comorbidities affecting individuals with epilepsy. The Department of Neurology brings together the vast resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to research initiatives. In addition, there are no general neurology expectations for this role.

Salary Disclosure
Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
