The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Vermont (UVM) and the UVM Medical Center, are seeking a medical oncologist/hematologist faculty member on the Clinical Scholar Pathway at the Assistant/Associate level to join the Hematology/Oncology Network division with a primary practice site in Plattsburgh, NY. Clinical duties will encompass general oncology and hematology (benign and malignant disease) and include inpatient consult service and outpatient clinics at University of Vermont Health Network Champlain Valley Physicians’ Hospital (CVPH) in Plattsburgh, New York, as well as at affiliated clinics in Elizabethtown and Malone, NY. Weekday and weekend call on a rotation with other physicians. There will be ample opportunities to interact with the University of Vermont Cancer Center for patient care and participation in clinical trials. In addition, it is anticipated the faculty member will practice two days per month at the UVM Cancer Center outpatient clinic in Burlington, Vermont with an opportunity to focus on academic, subspecialty hematology/oncology.

Applicants must be Board Eligible or Certified in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology within the first two years of appointment, demonstrate interest in teaching and service, and be eligible for licensure in the States of Vermont and New York.
