Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Newborn Hospitalist / Pediatrician for a part time .5 position to join our prestigious medical facility Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital located in the beautiful Charlottesville, Virginia area.

• 2.5 pediatric hospitalist practice covering the newborn nursery.
• Block scheduling available.
• Flexible scheduling model with out of house call model.
• The ideal candidate may have either ambulatory or inpatient well newborn experience.
• CQI and clinical research opportunities are available.
• Opportunity to exchange best practices and ideas with the several thousand Pediatrix providers working across more than 400 hospitals.
• Start date target / Summer 2024.
• Inpatient pediatric hospitalist experience necessary
