Job Details
CHaD is the pediatric service of Dartmouth Hitchcock (D-H), an integrated academic healthcare delivery system for northern New England, anchored in Lebanon, New Hampshire at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC), recognized by US News & World Report as the Best Hospital in NH and home to the NCI-designated Norris Cotton Cancer Center and the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. CHaD maintains an inpatient pediatric unit with PICU and a level III NICU at DHMC and a comprehensive ambulatory specialty center at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Manchester, the largest city in the state.
Qualifications
• BC/BE Pediatric Nephrology
• Must have ability to obtain/maintain NH medical license
Responsibilities
The program offers comprehensive nephrology services including management of acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, acute and chronic nephritis, pediatric renal transplant, medical urology, prenatal consultation, and kidney stones. A unique aspect of the Section is our integrative pediatric nephrology service that attracts patients from across the country.
Teaching residents and medical students is expected, so eligibility for academic appointment at The Geisel School of Medicine is required, at a rank commensurate with experience and academic portfolio. Opportunities for clinical, translational, and health services research exist for the interested candidate.
