Neonatologist - Physician - Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia

The Position:

• Hospital based position at Jefferson Einstein Philadelphia
• 27 bed Level III NICU which participates in the Vermont Oxford Network VLBW database
• Training site for neonatology fellows, residents, medical students, nurse practitioner students, and nursing students
• Active quality improvement and clinical research projects
• Provides high frequency and conventional ventilation in addition to iNO
• Provides therapeutic hypothermia
• Pediatric cardiology & pediatric neurology & pediatric ophthalmology support
• Surgical cases transferred out
• 7 Neonatologist group works collaboratively with 5 neonatal nurse practitioners (NNPS) recruiting to expand to 7 NNPs
• Opportunities for creative scheduling including those preferring nocturnist options

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO from an accredited program
• Completion of an accredited pediatric residency
• Completion of an accredited neonatal-perinatal medicine fellowship
• Appropriate licenses and certifications (must be board eligible or certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine)
