This position serves the growing West Valley on the campus of Banner Del E. Webb Medical Center.

Utilizing a multidisciplinary approach, the qualified candidate will provide inpatient care, helping patients and their families deal with serious life-threatening illnesses and symptom management.

Requirements, features, and schedule include:

• BC/BE in Hospice and Palliative Medicine
• Fellowship training is strongly preferred, open to finishing fellows.
• Monday through Friday work schedule
• Desire and ability to help grow Palliative Care within the community.
• Able to build collaborative relationships and provide education to colleagues and patients.
• Comfortable working independently on a new start-up program Banner Del E. Web Medical Center (BDWMC) Sun City West, a 404-bed full-service hospital with over 600 physicians on staff, excels in providing acute medical and surgical services as well as intensive care, emergency and urgent care, inpatient /outpatient surgery, cardiac catheterization, neurology, orthopedics, oncology, urology, pulmonary, obstetrics and gynecology, extended care, outpatient diagnostic services, acute and outpatient rehabilitation, and adult behavioral services.

Webb Medical Center is the eighth-largest hospital in the Valley and has earned the Joint Commissions Seal of Approval for accreditation by demonstrating compliance with The Joint Commission's national standards for health care quality and safety in hospitals.
