Responsibilities:
The Palliative Care Attending Physician will:
- Provide direct clinical care in an inpatient consultative service and ambulatory settings at Tufts Medical Center and its collaborative physician network
- Participate in local, regional, and national innovative palliative care projects
- Work at the main teaching hospital of Tufts University School of Medicine where a priority is placed on teaching and mentoring outstanding medical students, residents, and fellows
- Interested and qualified candidate could be a Hospice and Palliative Fellowship director
- Strong interest in outpatient palliative care and outreach program to community is welcome but not required
Requirements:
- Candidate applicants must be BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Care medicine
- Outstanding teaching skills and an interest in research are required
- A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world-class research innovation
- Interested in building collaborative and interdisciplinary work
Compensation:
Tufts Medicine offers a competitive salary commensurate with academic training and practice experience. A Tufts University School of Medicine appointment will be offered commensurate with academic qualifications. You will also receive Substantive retirement plan, CME Funds and Time Away, Generous Vacation and Holiday Policy
