Northwell Health is recruiting a full-time Director of Outpatient Psychiatry to lead the Behavioral Health Hospitalist team at Staten Island University Hospital. The ideal candidate should be energetic, innovative, and enjoy working in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.
Staten Island University Hospital’s Department of Behavioral Health Sciences provides comprehensive psychiatric care in a private, patient-centered environment. With over 1,450 discharges per year, it is considered to be one of the most active comprehensive mental health centers on Staten Island.
Our 35-bed inpatient unit provides short-term hospital care to evaluate and stabilize patients with acute psychiatric disorders. There is a strong focus on returning patients to normal functioning as soon as possible while rebuilding self-esteem and improving socialization.

Salary Disclosure
Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity. The base compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
