The division includes three critical services. The 21-bed Geriatric / Neuropsychiatry Inpatient Program is one of a few of its kind in the United States. It features an interdisciplinary team comprised of Psychiatrists, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Nurses, and learners. A large consultation – liaison group of Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Social Workers serves adult medical and surgical inpatients at Maine Medical Center.
