Physician Scientist in Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, General Internal Medicine, and Infectious Diseases

The Divisions of Cardiology, Endocrinology, Hematology, General Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School (RWJMS), New Brunswick, NJ, are seeking physician-scientists with an interest in cardiology, hematology, endocrinology (including diabetes), general internal medicine, and/or infectious diseases, to join the Department at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor of Medicine.

The faculty member will develop a clinical/translational/or basic science program and will have responsibilities teaching residents and fellows research skills and will also have roles on the inpatient and outpatient specialty services working with residents and fellows. Generous start-up packages are available. We are growing strong basic, clinical, and translational research programs which focus on a wide range of diseases. The larger scientific environment at Rutgers is outstanding.

To qualify, physician-scientists must be Board certified or eligible in their specialty. The rank of appointment will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
