Northwell Health is currently recruiting BE/BC Gastroenterologists to our growing teams in Long Island. The Division of Gastroenterology of Northwell Health is recognized globally for its clinical, technical, and research expertise in all aspects of gastroenterological diseases.
We have developed and implemented plans to develop and expand our areas of excellence in motility, therapeutic endoscopy, gastrointestinal cancers, cancer genetics, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), pancreatic diseases, endoscopic surgery and obesity, as well as to expand the academic fellowship program and research in these important areas.
Through our fellowship and residency programs, we strive to train exceptional gastrointestinal fellows, residents, and medical students who, in addition to being excellent clinicians, also have intellectual curiosity and academic potential. Patients choose us for our world-class care and for the empathy and support that we provide. Our expert gastroenterologists follow the best clinical evidence and clinical practices and also extend medical care to patients’ family members who are at risk for developing gastroenterological disorders.
We continually recruit a diverse physician workforce to meet the needs of the diverse patients we seek to serve; as a result, our Health System is proudly ranked Diversity Inc’s #1 Hospital and Health System. We fully understand that diversity is integral for our institutional excellence and a means to attaining health equity. As a result, our diversity and inclusion efforts are a part of everything we do, from education to clinical care, to research, to physician well-being.
