Our practice is looking for a candidate who can contribute with excellent patient care, superior clinical abilities and ideas to create limitless opportunities. The nephrologist in this position will see patients in our Williamsburg medical office with a robust, established patient population. In addition, they will perform acute care rounds at our area hospitals and rounding at our multiple dialysis centers to include HD, PD and HHD assessment. When appropriate, the physician will coordinate care with other members of the health community and clinical partners. Responsibilities also include weekend call currently at 1:6. Good patient rapport and the ability to work well with colleagues and staff in a team-oriented environment are crucial. The ideal candidate will also be willing to work proactively in the hospital, dialysis centers and community while building relationships with primary care providers to generate patient referrals.
