Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group has an opportunity for a Neonatologist to join our growing team at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

• This Level-III unit has an average daily census of 8-10 and approximately 2,000 annual deliveries
• In addition to 24/7 NNP coverage, there is MFM and OB hospitalist on-site support as well
• Halifax Medical Center is involved in VON and Florida Perinatal Quality Collaborative Initiatives
• Join our NICU and newborn nursery team quality and evidence-based neonatal initiatives

Known for its motorsports attractions, the beach features packed sand that can still be driven on, and celebrates world renowned racing at the Daytona International Speedway. The town offers a rich diversity of arts, culture, and heritage with a nostalgic boardwalk to take you back to simpler times with free concerts, a ferris wheel, and an ample supply of ice cream. The school district has been recognized nationally as a Next Generation Learning Community and has many elementary, middle and high schools, as well as several higher education options. Daytona is also one of Florida’s most affordable housing markets and there is no state income tax.
