Responsibilities

Seeking a 7th BC/BE Neonatologist to join our team of physicians and NNPs providing care in Reno/Tahoe, Nevada.

• Renown Children’s Hospital has a Level-III NICU with approximately 500 admissions per year.
• New state-of-the-art 49-bed Level III NICU opened in June 2023.
• Regional Referral Center for rural Northern Nevada and areas of Northern California.
• Neonatal transport team staffed by NNPs, NICU RNs and RTs.
• Services include high-frequency jet and oscillators, conventional ventilators, iNO and cooling for HIE.
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine plus full pediatric subspecialty support.
• Thriving quality improvement program and access to Mednax’s Clinical Data Warehouse with opportunity and support for projects and research.
• Renown Children’s Hospital has partnered with University of Nevada, Reno to create a pediatric residency program. Residents and medical students will be rotating through the NICU, and there will be exciting opportunities to help shape the program.
