Overview
Four Day Work Week M-Th, no call, Private Practice not affiliated with any hospital.
Texas Oncology is seeking a BC/BE Breast Radiologist to join an exceptional practice at its Amarillo Cancer Center.
Located in the heart of the Texas panhandle, the friendly city of Amarillo offers the advantages of big city living without the traffic and long lines everywhere. Amarillo, with a population of nearly 200,000 and a drawing area of 600,000, has much to offer its residents - from the beauty of the Palo Duro Canyon State Park to a variety of recreational activities, and a large arts community that includes a superb symphony, opera, and ballet. In both summer and winter, the mountains of New Mexico and Colorado are an easy drive to enjoy hiking, camping and skiing. Add in the low cost of living and quality educational system, and one discovers that Amarillo is a great place to live and raise a family!
Our Cancer Center is uniquely comprehensive given the city size in that we boast four Hematologist/Oncologists, a Radiation Oncologist, Surgical Oncologist, Colorectal Surgeon and a full Breast Radiology department where you will join an existing full time Breast Radiologist. In addition, Texas Oncology offers a four-day work week, excellent starting salary on a partnership track with a complete benefits package including an expense account, malpractice insurance, health/dental coverage, time-off for CME and relocation assistance.
