Community Emergency Medicine Opportunity
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Baystate Wing Hospital (BWH) is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician to join our growing team at our 74-bed community hospital in Palmer MA. Our team consists of 13 physicians, 4 APPs and a great support team.
• Our newly renovated state-of-the-art 20-bed ED at BWH opened in 2018. Every detail is focused on providing an excellent patient experience. Our Physicians and APPs handle approximately 34,000 annual patient visits. APPs run the fast track.
• Excellent specialty backup onsite and at nearby Baystate Medical Center/ UMass Chan Medical School, the region’s only Level 1 trauma center. Strong central leadership provides excellent support and resources for our community teams. Our 5-hospital emergency medicine service line handles 208,000 visits annually.
