Medical Director of Women's Health Services
Join a busy regional birthing center at The Hospital of Central CT (New Britain) with 1,600 births per year, a Level IIIa NICU, Robotic OR, 24 hour anesthesia, a regional referral center for High Risk OB and Level II ultrasounds in a thriving Maternal Fetal Medicine service. Enjoy a Baby Friendly Post-Partum Unit in an academic community setting.
The Medical Director of Women's Health Services will be primarily responsible for management and coverage of the OB/GYN resident's clinic, the clinic inpatient service and unassigned patients that present to labor and delivery or the ED at THOCC. Responsibilities also include educational programs for the residents and medical students as well as quality improvement initiatives for the Department of OB/GYN as directed by the Chief of OB/GYN.
