The Department of Dermatology at Duke University School of Medicine is currently recruiting both Clinician Educators and Clinician Scientists as part of its expansion within the ever-growing Raleigh-Durham, NC market. Successful applicants will have a strong interest and/or expertise in Telehealth. The new Department Chair is committed to faculty advancement and mentorship.
Clinician Educator candidates should have a strong interest in teaching and providing the highest quality of patient care. Ability to be involved in clinical research is encouraged. Subspecialty interest is a plus, yet not required.
Clinician Scientist candidates should have a strong interest and/or expertise in clinical research which can include clinical trials, translational research, dermato-epidemiology, health services research, and implementation research. Interest in teaching and mentorship is encouraged. Responsibilities will be split between clinic sessions and clinical research. Subspecialty interest is a plus, yet not required.
