The Kernodle Clinic affiliated with Dukes faculty practice almost 10 years ago and is Dukes flagship practice in their western market. Kernodle is also their largest community-based multi-specialty practice with more than 95 medical providers in 18 areas of specialty, with three office locations in Alamance County. Kernodle includes a complex lab, diagnostic x-ray, nuclear cardiology, and stress echo ultrasound services. Centrally located in the piedmont area of North Carolina, Alamance County, the primary service area, has a population of about 170,000. The community includes the cities/towns of Burlington, Mebane, Elon, Graham, and Haw River and is growing significantly. Kernodle Cardiology Department:
- Department has 4 Cardiologists (2 interventional and 2 invasive)
- Department has 4 APPs
- Work at one local hospital, Cone Healths Alamance Regional Medical Center (ARMC)
- Practices location in Burlington and Mebane offices
- Clinic is open M-F, 8am-5pm
- Share call on a 1:4 rotation
- Interventionalists have STEMI call at ARMC
