The Department of Neurology at Duke University School of Medicine is seeking an additional Vascular Neurologist to join its expanding Stroke and Vascular Neurology Division, which currently has seven primary faculty, nine secondary faculty and five nurse practitioners. Individuals at various ranks are welcome to apply, however those with at least 3 years experience and a proven record of accomplishment in research funding are preferred. Hired physician will join a vibrant research community and active clinical practice at 957-bed Duke University Hospital, a house for the JCAHO certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and the Center of excellence in Cavernous Malformation. The stroke center also has a growing telestroke network with eight sites in North Carolina and Virginia. Excellent opportunity to develop and advance an education, clinical and translational research career. Ability to be also be involved in education, global stroke care, telestroke and/or outpatient subspecialty clinic, if so desired.

Successful candidate must be BC in Neurology and fellowship trained in Vascular Neurology. Academic rank and salary will be determined based on individual qualifications.
