Duties: The Associate Staff has a dual appointment in the Sleep Disorders Center and the Pulmonary Department at Main Campus (9500 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44195) and Beachwood Family Health and Surgery Center (26900 Cedar Road, Beachwood, Ohio 44122). He or she provides physician services, including examining adult patients with the most common sleep disorders that affect sleep patterns and sleep quality in adults, such as obstructive sleep apnea, insomnia, and restless leg syndrome, amongst others. Clinical responsibilities may include seeing patients in the inpatient and outpatient settings. Those in this position may carry out research in both sleep medicine and inpatient sleep medicine. The Associate Staff will also provide inpatient Pulmonary Consult services within the Pulmonary Department related to circadian rhythm and sleep disorders. Telecommuting permitted to conduct occasional virtual visits.
Requirements: MD or foreign equivalent as determined by a credentials evaluation or as evidenced by an ECFMG certificate; completion of an ACGME certified Sleep Medicine Fellowship; Board Eligibility or Certification in Sleep Medicine; and eligibility for Ohio medical licensure.
Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience ($280,000 per year)
