The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Duke University is seeking an academically oriented, board certified or board eligible orthopaedic surgeon fellowship?trained in Pediatric Orthopaedics. This new faculty member will join colleagues practicing at several locations with a variety of clinical profiles.
Candidates should be committed to excellent patient care, as well as teaching, scholarship, research, and leadership on local, national, and international levels. There is a rich training environment at Duke, with participation by students, residents, and fellows. He/she will be part of orthopaedic emergency coverage in the Duke University Health System, which includes Duke University Hospital, a Level 1 trauma center.
The successful candidate will develop or participate in a scholarship or research program, either independently or in collaboration with other faculty at Duke University. Support for research activities corresponding to the needs and desires of the successful applicant are available within the broad range of the academic disciplines at Duke University. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience.
