Novant Health Psychiatric Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC has an immediate need for a full-time, board certified/board eligible Inpatient Adult Psychiatrist to join our team of 16 providers! The schedule is 7 on/7 off, 12-hours days with rotations starting on Monday. General adult inpatient psychiatry unit with full ancillary staff support and consult support from medical surgical hospitalists. The majority of patients are on a dedicated 39-bed psych unit and a 12-bed general adult psych unit. Shared admission call from home. ECT procedures available.

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
• Completion of an accredited residency program required
• For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• Current MD license in appropriate state
• Board certification or eligibility
• Current DEA license required
