Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology is seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologists to join a busy practice to provide a full range of endocrine care, including but not limited to caring for patients with diabetes, supervising the inpatient/consultation service, and participating in the training of residents and medical students. The successful candidate will join the current team of 4 physicians with the support of diabetes educators, registered endocrinology nurses, social workers, clinical psychologists and registered dieticians. Loma Linda Children’s Pediatric Diabetes Center is recognized by the American Diabetes Association for diabetes education. Academic appointment at Loma Linda School of Medicine will be commensurate with experience, training, achievements and teaching activities.

Loma Linda Children's Hospital has 364 regional beds. It provides comprehensive care to over 1.2 million children, with more than 870 physicians and 2,310 staff, and more than 82,000 patient visits a year and 7,100 patient visits to the diabetes clinic a year.

It is located in a perfect spot. It is close to all southern California beach cities. Los Angeles and San Diego is within 100 miles. Big Bear, which is one of the most famous ski locations in the country is within 45 miles. Palm Springs, a known tourist attraction area is within 50 miles. There are plenty of hiking and biking trails, lakes, kayaking, fishing, farm stands, and so much. Whether you prefer the snow or a sunny day in a beach, it’s all within your reach. 

Compensation & Benefits:

The compensation range listed is for starting base compensation only and is adjusted based upon years of experience and/or faculty rank: $142,000 - $187,000. This amount does not include variable compensation or extra productivity and is subject to the individual department compensation plans. More information on compensation is discussed with the departments during the recruitment process.
