Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’s premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our Oncology service and Baystate’s extensive network in Western Massachusetts.
Position Highlights –
• We are seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our team of 12 physicians and 8 advanced practitioners. We have disease-specific teams in gastrointestinal cancers, genitourinary cancers, thoracic cancers and breast cancer which include physicians, advanced practitioners and practice nurses. Multidisciplinary tumor boards meet regularly and include surgical specialties, radiation oncology, pathology and radiology. Our fully integrated program includes radiation and surgical oncology, and a dedicated oncology inpatient unit.
• The clinical emphasis of this position is medical oncology; experience in brain tumors, head and neck cancers or genitourinary cancers would be an asset.
• Baystate Regional Cancer Program is the region’s only academic cancer program and only program doing clinical research. We seek candidates passionate about teaching. Clinical trials experience is also desirable.
