Overview
A cohesive group of 8 radiation oncologists is expanding our practice and looking for a new partner. The practice location is in Columbia, Missouri; home of the University of Missouri. We are affiliated with the University of Missouri Medical School, Ellis Fishel Cancer Hospital, and Missouri Cancer Associates in Columbia, Missouri. We are also affiliated with several hospital based and free-standing clinics located in central Missouri. Columbia is a university community with excellent availability of theater, music, arts, sports and outdoor activities. Central Missouri also offers lakes, hills, agricultural property, and rural communities. We offer IMRT, 3-D conformal RT, prostate seed implantation, LDR and HDR brachytherapy, radiopharmaceuticals, and stereotactic radiosurgery. We do treat some pediatric patients. As a group we share call and vacation coverage.
Requirements
Applicants should be well trained, self -motivated, work well in groups, and be patient oriented. Familiarity with IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, Radiosurgery, and Brachytherapy is required. Board certification or board eligibility is required.
