Your day.

As an Physician in Palliative Care, you'll work with two Palliative Medicine Physicians to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Throughout the day you'll collaborate with a PA, Social Workers, Case Managers, community Hospice, and Chaplains.
  • You would practice at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO
  • Your hours will be as needed Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm, with no call
  • You'll join a passionate and energetic team of two Palliative Care physicians, and one PA - they function like a family and care deeply about their patients
  • Play a critical role on a busy service with around eight consults a day
  • Make a significant and powerful impact on our patients and their families during times of need

Your experience.

We hire people, not words on paper. But we also expect excellence, which is why we require:
  • MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
  • Residency training in Family, Internal, Palliative Medicine
  • At least two years' experience in Palliative Medicine is preferred. Experience with inpatient adult consult services will be considered.
  • Active, unobstructed Colorado medical license, or the ability to obtain one
  • Ability to successfully complete St. Mary's credentialing process
