Medical Oncologist, MD/DO Full-Time, 1.0 FTE Renton, WA (Between Seattle and Tacoma)

Located in Renton, Washington, Valley Medical Center is the largest nonprofit healthcare provider between Seattle and Tacoma, serving more than 600,000 residents. In addition to the 341-bed hospital with its Level III Trauma Center, Valley operates a network of more than four dozen primary care, urgent care, and specialty clinics, with most located on or near the hospital campus.

We are currently hiring for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with a desire to build a practice working in a collaborative, collegial, work environment. Team-based model approach to patient-centered care.

You will have a designated Medical Assistant. We have a total of 4 Oncologists, one Medical Oncology and one Gynecology Oncology APP, 1.5 Gynecology Oncologists, and 2 radiation oncologists. Call is 1:5.

  • Palliative care is embedded in the Oncology Clinic.
  • We have triage nursing, financial coordinators, and treatment authorizers.
  • PharmD embedded in the infusion center and the Clinic.
  • Commission on cancer accredited program meeting and beating the standards set by CoC
  • Support sub-specialties with IR, GI, therapeutic and diagnostic interventionist, colorectal surgeons, and breast surgeons

Qualifications:

  • BE/BC in Medical Oncology. New graduates are encouraged to apply!

Ability to obtain:

  • Medical professional license in the State of WA
  • DEA with full prescriptive authority
