Oculofacial Surgeon Role - Northwell Health Eye Institute

Northwell Health is seeking a dynamic comprehensive Oculofacial Surgeon for employment.

The physician should have completed an ACGME-accredited residency in ophthalmology and be board certified or board eligible. They should also have completed a fellowship in Oculofacial surgery.

The position is for a full time academic physician supervising residents, providing oculofacial support at our hospitals, and practicing within the faculty practice at Manhattan Eye, Ear & Throat Hospital. The physician must be able to work within a team structure, be available to participate in hospital on call responsibilities, and have extensive surgical experience across the full range of Oculofacial care.

Department of Ophthalmology:

The Department of Ophthalmology brings together the resources of Northwell Health and the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell to provide state-of-the-art care while contributing to advances in technology, education and research. Our department consists of 44 full time faculty, 16 Optometrists, and over 300 community based comprehensive and specialty ophthalmologists.
