Emergency Medicine Physician in Riverton, Wyoming

TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a physician to join our emergency department (ED) team full-time at SageWest Health Care- Riverton Campus in Riverton, Wyoming. This Level III trauma center supports a 12,000 annual volume ED that provides coverage in 12-hour shifts, and an admission rate of 11%. The EMR is MedHost. Clinicians cover floor codes, the facility has a helicopter service and EMS base station. Physicians see a variety of cases from trauma to illness and patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric. Local trauma surgeons provide good support, and the nursing staff is very strong and experienced. Qualifications include board certified/prepared in emergency medicine or board certified/eligible in a primary care specialty with emergency medicine experience.
