Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is seeking a full-time Psychiatrist to join its team in the beautiful community of Kodiak, Alaska. This is a vital position that will help lead and grow the island's Behavioral Health program. Where You'll Work
Providence Kodiak Island Medical Center is the sole provider of acute and emergency care for Kodiak Island. Accredited by The Joint Commission and designated as a Level IV trauma center by the State of Alaska, this 25-bed critical-access hospital plays an indispensable role in the lives of 14,000 Kodiak residents, the Coast Guard base and neighboring villages. With a state-of-the-art MRI and 64-slice CT, this hospital receives high marks, and providers are able to offer advanced care.

Kodiak is famous for its fishing, huge Kodiak brown bears and lush mountains. The Kodiak Islanders also pride themselves on lesser-known highlights, such as excellent public and private schools, organized youth sports, several churches, museums and dozens of annual community events.
