The Cleveland Clinic Department of Hospital Medicine is currently recruiting BC/ BE physicians for our Night Coverage Program at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus and its regional hospital inpatient programs. The department is currently home to over 100 staff physicians who provide inpatient clinical services both in tertiary and local community hospital settings, serve as teaching attendings for resident teams, actively participate in the Lerner College of Medicine as physician faculty, and have vibrant research portfolios in various aspects of clinical medicine, operations, patient experience, and quality of care. The department administers two distinctly separate day and night programs to provide round the clock coverage for our patients.
The Night Coverage Program was created with the goal of providing physicians with an opportunity to practice high quality medicine and see a diverse spectrum of patient pathologies, while ensuring a work-life balance. It is particularly suitable for physicians looking for either a transitional position of 1-4 years or for a very flexible work schedule to meet their personal needs. It is an outstanding opportunity for recent graduates who are in transition between their residency and fellowship training to continue their research projects in their fellowship arena, and earn a competitive salary with generous benefits. Each year we have had several of the program alumni progress to fellowships at various reputable university programs across the nation. The department also allows hybrid scheduling of both day and night work for those who like to combine the advantage of a daytime academic program with the scheduling flexiblity of a night program.
