Providence Health & Services - Washington is seeking a full-time Cardiologist Physician to diagnose and treat diseases and injuries to the structure and function of the heart and peripheral arteries to determine the nature and extent of the injury or disorder. Responsible for a variety of cardiology procedures. Run non-invasive vascular studies on the carotid arteries in the neck and other vessels in the arms and legs. Treat patients who are having chest pain, have suffered heart attacks or strokes, have heart valve disease or electrical abnormalities of the heart, and those with artery blockages in the heart or in the rest of the body due to complications from diabetes or atherosclerosis. Prevent damage to arteries throughout the body as well as prevent damage to the heart. Take pictures of arteries near the heart as well as those throughout the body to identify artery blockages. Find a blockage and treat it in a timely manner to prevent damage to the artery and/or blood supply to vital organs, including the brain, heart, kidneys, or lack of circulation to a limb. Prescribe medication and recommend dietary and activity programs, as indicated by the diagnosis.
  • Medical Degree (MD)
  • Washington State medical license
  • Completion of ACGME-accredited residency in internal medicine
  • Completion of 3-year ACGME-accredited fellowship in cardiovascular disease
  • Compensation between $212.29 and $312.30 per hour
  • The compensation amounts listed may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, extra shift incentives, as applicable to the position. In addition, providers may have CME benefits available to them.
