Catholic Health (CH) is seeking a Palliative Medicine physician to join their Palliative Medicine service at St. Catherine's in Smithtown, NY.

There are six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional home nursing service, and a large hospice. CH has 1,928 certified hospital beds, approximately 18,400 employees, more than 4,300 medical staff and annual revenues which exceed $3 billion.

The Catholic Health medical group includes over 600 physicians and 2500 support staff. The physicians and surgeons work in their six hospitals and 70 ambulatory offices. The system's hospice & palliative medicine physicians have an established group practice managed by Good Shepherd Hospice.

Practice:
  • Consultation service - you will play a key role in the Symptom Management and Supportive Care multidisciplinary team
  • Provide medical evaluation and treatment in both inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Collaborate with dedicated, highly skilled palliative medicine colleagues to deliver excellent patient care
  • The call schedule allows a great work/life balance
