Catholic Health (CH), named one of the country's "Best Places to Work" by Modern Healthcare Magazine and honored by Newsday as a Top Workplace on Long Island, seeks an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to lead its Eastern Division in the highly desired area of West Islip, NY. Catholic Health is a fully integrated health system comprised of six hospitals serving the communities of Long Island.

Practice:
  • Maternal Fetal Medicine is one of the systems fastest growing services
  • Four of the six hospitals offer obstetrical services with deliveries now exceeding 5,500
  • Presently, there are three Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. In addition to the administrative and clinical duties, the Chief will play an important role in adding additional physicians
  • The Eastern Division (Suffolk County) includes Good Samaritan, St. Charles, and St. Catherine's hospitals with an Ob/Gyn medical staff of approximately 130
  • Graduate Medical Education programs in Women's Health: OB/GYN Residency Program, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship Program. Other GME programs planned in the near future include MFM and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Programs
  • An excellent base salary, leadership stipend, RVU and quality bonus, and full benefits are offered
  • An employer paid pension plan in addition to a 403b employee contribution plan are offered
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Board Certification and the ability to secure a NY license
