General Pediatrics- Clinical Educator Opportunity
Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School – Baystate, is seeking an academic Pediatrician to join our organization.
Position Highlights –
• Join our team of 13+ pediatricians and APPs who serve a vibrant and diverse patient population at High Street Pediatrics in Springfield MA. We deliver comprehensive education to pediatric residents, medical students and other learners in a setting that models excellent and innovative population-based care to promote health equity through community collaboration, advocacy, outreach, and community engaged research.
• Faculty appointment to the UMass Chan Medical School-Baystate.
• 100% outpatient. Great call schedule- residents take first call.
• Care for a multilingual population many of whom are not native English speaking. Our practice has interpreters on site and fluency in medical Spanish is a plus.
• Strong specialty support is accessible at nearby Baystate Children’s Hospital, our Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 107-beds and the region’s only PICU and level III NICU. Support also includes child life specialists, a designated 24-hour pediatric ED and services from 11 pediatric subspecialties, pediatric surgery and behavioral health.
