POSITION SUMMARY: Teaching Hospitalist needed for St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport, CT, the primary teaching affiliate of the Frank Netter School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University. Qualified candidates should have exemplary clinical training and an interest in scholarly activities including research and publications. The Teaching Hospitalist will be engaged in the GME program, including committee work and interviewing prospective candidates to the program. Qualifications include an active board certification in internal medicine and ability to obtain CT licensure. The candidate must have proven leadership abilities, a passion for teaching, and a strong commitment to quality patient care.

Qualifications
  • Physician Board Certified /Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with experience in managing acutely ill adult patients with a variety of chronic illnesses.
  • Licensed or eligible to be licensed in Connecticut
