The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine is seeking a vibrant and highly motivated OB Laborist to join our patient-centered obstetric care model.

Highlights
  • 12 or 24-hour shifts as part of a cohesive team to provide continuous coverage of labor and delivery.
  • Evaluate and manage antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum patients, assist with obstetric triage and emergencies on the labor and delivery unit, and implement protocols for optimal patient care and quality.
  • Deliveries at the Riley Maternity and Newborn unit with a Level IV NICU; collaboration with MFM for high-risk patients
  • Clinician faculty appointment through Indiana University: teaching and supervision of residents and medical students, some scholarly activity.
  • Collaboration with Nurse Midwifery practice
  • Excellent benefits through Indiana University School of Medicine (dually employed)

Qualifications:
  • Completion of OB/Gyn residency
  • Board certified/eligible in OB/Gyn
  • Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible
