Gastroenterology Positions at Weill Cornell Medicine (Assistant/Associate/Professor)

The Weill Cornell Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in New York is actively recruiting for academic faculty.

The division is seeking energetic gastroenterologists to join our team as we expand several programs including general gastroenterology, IBD, GI hospitalist, obesity medicine (ICHANGE program) and foregut, who are dedicated to providing outstanding clinical care and teaching at a variety of educational levels at our institution. The position is open to both graduating fellows and experienced gastroenterologists.

Academic appointment is at Weill Cornell Medicine at the Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor level. Interested candidates should submit their CV and letter of interest to Dr. Robert Brown, Chief of Gastroenterology & Hepatology, ajc2007@med.cornell.edu

General Gastroenterology:

The division is looking for a general gastroenterologist whose main focus will be in the outpatient setting. In addition to building an outpatient practice, responsibilities of the position would include participation in our direct access colonoscopy program and trainee supervision/education both in the outpatient and inpatient setting.

GI Hospitalist:

The division is looking to hire a GI hospitalist whose focus would be supervising the inpatient consult service and teaching trainees, but there is also opportunity to maintain a robust outpatient practice as the position will be shared with an existing hospitalist.

Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD):

The Jill Roberts Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease is seeking a clinical gastroenterologist to join the IBD faculty at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. Advanced fellowship training is encouraged. The candidate will join a busy outpatient IBD practice, participate in the advanced IBD fellowship program, and attend on the inpatient IBD service.

Obesity Medicine:

The Innovative Center for Health and Nutrition (ICHANGE) program is seeking a gastroenterologist interested in focusing clinical efforts on the care of patients with obesity and general digestive health issues that may be optimized with weight management and lifestyle changes. Experience in obesity and lifestyle medicine not required and on-site training and mentorship will be available.

Foregut:

Our well-established nationally recognized foregut group is interested in welcoming an academically oriented gastroenterologist with a clinical and/or research focus on diseases of the foregut.
