Overview

New York Oncology Hematology is looking to hire a full-time radiation oncologist to join our long-established and rapidly expanding practice. We are a large multi-specialty group in upstate New York with six free-standing cancer centers around the Capital Region. Three centers have linacs (Varian True Beam with OSMS and Identify). We provide SRS, SBRT and HDR programs with referrals from medical oncology, neuro-oncology and GYN oncology as part of our practice. We are also evaluating new technologies to include in the build-out of our planned newest cancer center. We have an active research department with phase 1-3 trials available (NRG access). The practice has 75% of the new cancer patient volume in our area and a current growth of 3-4% annually. Upstate New York has access to the Adirondacks for outdoor enthusiasts and is only three hours from New York City and Boston. Specifics related to this position are as follows:
