BayCare Medical Group is a physician-led medical group actively recruiting for two board certified/board eligible General Surgeons to join our General Surgery team located at Winter Haven Hospital. Experience is preferred, but one of the two positions is available to newly graduated applicants. Winter Haven, Florida is a growing community conveniently nestled between Tampa and Orlando. This is an opportunity to practice broad general surgery procedures supporting ED, elective, and clinic-based services.

The ideal candidate is confident in independent operating skills and comfortable building relationships with community surgeons and referral physicians. Additional skills in endoscopy, laparoscopy, robotics, and CRS are a welcome addition but not required.

Our practice consists of:

• Shared 1:4 call schedule once fully staffed
• Commencement bonus paid upon employment
• Call is based out of Winter Haven Hospital (400+ beds) and Bartow Regional Hospital (88 beds)
• Modern and well-equipped community hospital with demonstrated volume
• Candidates with a minimum of three years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Excellent operating room and resources with a supportive administration

Position requires: Board Certification or Board Eligibility by The American Board of Surgery is required.
