Program Director, Adult Psychiatry Residency

The Department of Psychiatry at Cambridge Health Alliance (CHA), a teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School (HMS), is seeking a Program Director to lead its Adult Psychiatry Residency program. The CHA Department of Psychiatry is a major teaching facility for Harvard Medical School and all professional staff have appointments at appropriate levels on the academic ladder. This position carries a Harvard Medical School appointment of Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, available commensurate with HMS criteria. The Department has 32 residents. Social work interns; psychology post-docs and interns; and Geriatric, Child and Adolescent, and Consultation-Liaison Fellows are also a core part of our training mission.

The successful candidate will have a track record of interdisciplinary collaboration in clinical and educational settings and will be exceptionally skilled and experienced in education program development, faculty development, and mentorship. Experience working with colleagues and patients from diverse backgrounds, leadership of multidisciplinary team-based training, and familiarity with ACGME requirements, is strongly preferred.
