Center for Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Division of Digestive and Liver Diseases, and Division of Colorectal Surgery at the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University is accepting applications for a faculty position. Our IBD Center is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist specialized in IBD at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher to join our world-class IBD team with expertise in medical and interventional IBD and pouch disorders.

Exposure to medical management of common and complicated inflammatory bowel disease conditions, endoscopic skills, and clinical research is required.

The position involves active participation in the educational activity of clinical and research and clinical fellows, residents, and medical students. There is ample opportunity for participation in clinical trials. Responsibilities include participation in the academic and research missions of the University and IBD Center.

Minimum Degree: MD degree or equivalent  

Minimum Qualifications: Board certified/board eligible Gastroenterologist, Licensed to practice in the State of New York and eligible for New Jersey Medical License

Preferred: Completion of advanced IBD fellowship is preferred

Salary Range:

• Assistant Professor of Medicine at CUMC - $96,621.00 - $305,000.00
• Associate Professor of Medicine at CUMC - $103,748.00 - $400,000.00

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
