The Department of Medicine is seeking applications for a full-time clinical investigator track position for the Division of Hematology/Oncology at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This position seeks an ABIM certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with interest in managing patients with lymphoid malignancies, specifically lymphomas, and lymphoproliferative disorders, and an active interest in the development and conduct of clinical trials. This individual will have a primarily clinical assignment focused on lymphoma and will also be expected to develop, conduct, and participate in clinical trials and other collaborative research involving patients with lymphomas. The successful candidate will have the opportunity and will be expected to collaborate in a variety of activities including subspecialty and multidisciplinary clinics at the UF Health main campus, cancer case, and research conferences, and clinical trials.

The UF Division of Hematology and Oncology is aligned with, and our faculty are members of, the UF Health Cancer Center, providing novel clinical research, innovative treatments, and compassionate care for individuals facing all types of cancer and hematologic diseases. Resources available for professional development at the University of Florida Health Sciences Center include leadership, education, and research training through support from the UF Health Cancer Center, Clinical Translational Science Institute (CTSI), formal mentorship programs, and supported opportunities for teaching and research. Clinical research support is provided by the UF Health Cancer Center Clinical Research Office. Requisite attributes include a commitment to service, good verbal and written communication skills, a strong sense of teamwork, and a desire to train tomorrow’s doctors.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be board-certified or board eligible in Medical Oncology and Hematology and be eligible for a Florida Medical License.
