Columbia Orthopedics, one of the nation's oldest and most prestigious centers of excellence for orthopedic patient care, research, and education , in partnership with NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon, with fellowship training in total joint replacement, to join our department in Hudson Valley.

NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital , is a fully accredited non-profit 128-bed facility offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services and ambulatory care.Our physicians provide care in more than 60 specialties, and our top surgeons and specialists are physicians from ColumbiaDoctors , the faculty practice of Columbia University Irving Medical Center .

Designated as a National Heritage Area, Hudson Valley is steeped in history, natural beauty, culture, and a burgeoning food and farmer's market scene. Among many attributes, it's the oldest wine-producing area in the country, and the magnificent scenery inspired artists whose works became the Hudson River School of Painters. Lonely Planet describes the Hudson River Valley as "a real city break, with leafy drives, wineries and plenty of farm-to-table foodie options." National Geographic Traveler named the Hudson Valley one of the top 20 must-see destinations in the world .

The salary range for this position is $350k to $550k. This compensation range does not include our amazing benefits and any incentive payments, based on quality measures and productivity, that may be applicable to this role.

The selected candidate will hold an academic appointment at Columbia Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Academic rank will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and credentials.
